Students at the Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST) laud the Faculty of Electrical Engineering for exceptional management skills. Bill Gates Iipinge, a 4th year student pursuing Electrical Engineering, commended the faculty for their dedication and outstanding support.
“We are well managed, especially under the Electrical Engineering department,” stated Iipinge, emphasizing the high standards and commitment of the faculty. He specifically praised 3 lecturers, Professor Kameswara Musti, Pradeep Kumar, and Kalaluka Kanyimba , for their unwavering dedication and going above and beyond to assist students.
“Mr. Kumar and Mr. Musti’s teaching skills have greatly impacted me, driving me towards technical skills in my field by guiding me in simulations, research work, and system modelling,” Iipinge expressed, highlighting the profound influence of the faculty on his academic and professional development.
Iipinge further shared an unforgettable experience during a work site visit at Omburu Nampower Station, the second largest solar plant in Namibia, on the 5th April 2024. The experience left a lasting impression on the students, further underscoring the practical and impactful learning opportunities provided by the faculty. The students’ appreciation serves as a testament to the faculty’s commitment to nurturing and empowering the next generation of engineers at NUST.
