NUST Miss and Mr finalists on stage

The stage was set, the lights were bright, and NUST’s finest stepped forward and just like that, the hunt for Miss and Mr NUST was officially heating up.

It’s that time of year again when talent, beauty, and personality collide in one of the most anticipated events on the NUST social calendar. Hundreds of hopefuls, only sixteen made the cut, ten remarkable women and six standout men who had the judges doing double takes and the crowd on their feet. Whether they walked in with a signature strut or charmed the room with a single smile, these finalists proved that NUST is home to more than just brilliant minds; it’s a campus full of stars. We caught up with the top 16 to find out who they are beyond the spotlight, and trust us, they did not disappoint. So grab your front-row seat, because this is your exclusive look at the faces, the fire, and the stories behind NUST’s most glamorous competition yet.

Miss NUST 2025 — Innocentia Mukubi. She wore the crown, and she wore it well. Q: How has your journey been as Miss NUST so far? From teen pageants to the biggest university platform in the country, Miss NUST was actually Innocentia’s very first Miss pageant, and it has been nothing short of transformational. The journey completely shifted her perspective, opened doors to incredible opportunities, and connected her with companies she never imagined. She is truly grateful for every single moment of it.

Q: What is the biggest lesson you learned during your reign?

To slow down and appreciate the moment. In a world that moves so fast, it’s easy to forget what’s actually happening around you. Innocentia had to learn to pause, be present, and really soak it all in because if you don’t, it all just passes you by.

Q: What advice would you give to the new finalists competing this year?

Enjoy the moment, but put in the work. This is an individual competition; don’t measure yourself against anyone else. The only person you need to be better than is who you were yesterday. That’s the real goal.
