I-Care Health Institution hosts 4th Oath Taking Ceremony at 2025 Graduation

Windhoek, Namibia- August 26-27,2025: The I-Care Health Training Institution marked a significant milestone this August with the celebration of its 2025 graduation and 4th Oath taking Ceremony at the prestigious Mercure Hotel in Windhoek. The two day Event honored the accomplishments of the newest generation of Healthcare Professionals and formally welcomes them into the World of Nursing.


Bishop Andy Jumah opened the Ceremony with a powerful Prayer, invoking blessings for the Graduates as they step into their careers. Following this, Ms. Christine Ong’ondo, the Head of Department at I-Care Windhoek Campus delivered warm welcome remarks and she emphasized the deeper meaning of the graduates chosen path. “Nursing is more than a profession,” Ms. Ong’ondo stated. “It is a lifelong calling to serve, advocate and to heal.”


The highlight of the event was the 4th Oath Taking Ceremony, the symbolic moment reminded attendees of the values in the health care industry. At the heart of the institution is a commitment to values that honor diversity, respect and inclusion. The values not only shape how students are taught but also how they are expected to serve. “The oath is more than words,” the master of ceremony emphasized. “It is a lifelong commitment to compassion, integrity and service in health.” The symbolic act not only recognizes their academic success but also binds them to the timeless principles of compassion, integrity and service.


With candles lit and hands raised, the ceremony was a reminder of the vital role nurses play in the health and well being of communities. Over the past four years, the institution remains committed to producing health professionals who are deeply grounded in empathy and ethics. As I-Care Health Training Institution continues to pave the future of Healthcare in Namibia and beyond, the 2025 graduation stands as a proud testament to the commitment, resilience and compassion of its students.
