Windhoek: The Triumphant college hosted their annual big walk and wheel event on 25 August 2025 at the Triumphant Main Campus in Khomasdal,Windhoek. From the first light of dawn, students, alumni, young creatives, musicians and supporters gathered at the Triumphant main campus for more than just a walk but to rather make a difference.

This year’s theme “Keep a struggling student in varsity” was focused to shine light on the issues of financial and social challenges that many students go through quietly, often without anyone noticing. The Big Walk was more than a fundraiser, the platform was initially placed to raise awareness on critical issues affecting the youth of Namibia and beyond, including gender based violence, mental health, child safety and financial debt management.

The reason for the walk was to support Triumphant students in need with transport, food and other basic expenses. As well as to promote healthy living and community spirit through fun and fitness. The community showed support through the walk, cycling, scooting and donations for charity. Most of the proceeds of the fundraising went to struggling students, local orphanages, soup kitchens and future scholarships.

Performances from beloved Namibian artists such as Waters, Jay K Nakaye, Alina Armas, Paulus Daniel and Marathon Icon, Helaila Johannes, lit up the atmosphere with energy. Their presence was a reminder of how important it is to use influence for impact.

Triumphant College has been a Beacon of Hope for achieving dreams in higher education and with initiatives like The Big Annual Walk and Wheel the Institution continues to prove that Education doesn’t stop at the classroom door
