As young people, we are often encouraged to keep pushing, to dream bigger, to do more, but rarely are we reminded to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come. In the fast-paced rhythm of student life, we chase deadlines, juggle responsibilities, and move from one goal to the next without stopping to appreciate the progress we’ve made. Yet, reflection is not a luxury; it is a necessity for growth.

Held on 8 November 2025 at the NUST Main Campus in Windhoek, the Legacy Run brought together over 500 participants, including students, staff, alumni, and members of the public who took part in 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and 21.1 km races, all in celebration of the university’s 10-Year Anniversary under the theme “A Decade of Eminence: Celebrating Education, Science and Technology for Development.”

Throughout the year, COTA recorded several milestones across its programmes. In 2025, WorldSkills Namibia achieved several milestones that significantly strengthened the national skills ecosystem. The highlight of the year was the successful hosting of the National Skills Competition Swakopmund 2025, which showcased Namibia’s rising talent and reaffirmed our commitment to global standards of excellence.

At the Namibia Institute of Technology (NIT), mechanical engineering students are redefining what it means to learn by doing. Their end-year projects showcase not only technical skill but also a deep sense of innovation and purpose, reflecting how theory transforms into tangible, real-world solutions.

International Training College Lingua (ITCL) is set to expand its national presence with the opening of two new regional campuses in Rehoboth and Usakos in January 2026, with additional campuses planned for Oshakati, Walvis Bay, Rundu, and Katima Mulilo.
